Dang Muay Thai Gym is located in Chiang Mai's Old Town at 43/1 Arak Road, near the Suan Dok gate. The gym was founded in 2020 by Kru Dang and is sponsored by Yokkao. It has two rings, 29 heavy bags, and 16 trainers on staff. Group sessions are priced at 450 THB and private sessions at 650 THB. An on-site gear shop stocks Muay Thai equipment, and the gym also sells tickets for stadium fights. Accommodation is available on-site for training stays.

This must be THE BEST Muay Thai gym in Chiang Mai. I’ve trained MMA for more than one year in Taiwan. This time I traveled here and took 4 days to join private classes in Dang Muay Thai. I super appreciate to my trainers (kru) Den, Nut, and Chok. They are not only great fighters but also great coaches, with great energy. They corrected my fundamental footworks, posture, and skills like how to do real elbow and knee, and also make the classes fun. The gym is clean. There’re shower rooms for us to take a quick clean and change clothes. They provide shampoo and hair dryers. All staffs here are nice and friendly. This is my best part of experience and memory in Chiang Mai. Khob khun khrap🙏

I had a private 1-on-1 session with Bang for my very first Muay Thai experience, and I enjoyed it so much that I immediately decided to extend my stay in Chiang Mai to pursue more training at Dang Muay Thai Gym. The coaching was patient, detailed, and motivating. Bang creates a great atmosphere while still pushing you to improve, and I left feeling fulfilled and inspired. Thank you for an awesome experience — I’m excited to continue training here. Highly recommended.

Amazing gym. I did a private lesson and a group lesson. First time doing Muay Thai. I loved it. The instructors are awesome. Intense and high quality. My coach Shu was great, fun, funny and intense. I only wish I had more time to do more sessions. They tailor the lessons to your experience level. Definitely recommend it if you are in Chiang Mai! These guys are the best.

My first go at Muay Thai was at Dang Muay Thai and I couldn’t be more pleased. This gym is fantastic. The coaches are competent, serious about their craft, but also kind and super funny. I took the beginner class and it challenged me without crushing my confidence. Will definitely come back here whenever I am in Chiang Mai. If you were to try just one gym in this lovely city, make it Dang Muay Thai ❤️

My daughter and I could only train one day at Dang (we planned on 3 days, but got sick and had to skip 2 days) We both got privates and we both enjoyed our trainers. They adapted well to our abilities. Good work out and added a little fun at the end. Everyone at Dang was friendly and welcoming. Thank you 🙏🏼
