Muscular Lair is a premium bodybuilding gym in Chang Phueak, Chiang Mai, designed for serious strength training. The 5,000+ sqft facility features high-quality USA-made machines alongside Panatta (Italy) and Newtech (Korea) equipment, squat racks, and deadlift platforms. Training areas are kept cool with commercial-grade Carrier air purifiers. An in-house café serves juices, smoothies, and healthy food. Open daily 8 AM–10 PM.

Superb in every way. We visited on several day rates which is cheap as anything at 70 baht. The machines are Panatta, newtech m-torchure, Cybex, Nautilus and hammer strength. Real premium kit. We went to another gym near and it was all knock off kit with awful range of motions. Seems they only copied the look, not the quality. Muscular Lair is actually better than most UK gyms. Good atmosphere, no egos. Respectful people and serious training. Customers are all ages and healthy mix male and female. Not intimidating at all for females and a fantastic array of glute kit in the booty corner!

Excellent gym with a complete range of free weights and machines. Nice atmosphere and people are friendly. Daily rate is 70 baht, which is very affordable for the quality of the gym. The owner is very kind and puts in a lot of efforts to ensure the gym is comfortable. The space is very clean and equipment is well maintained. Overall, it's a highly recommended gym in Chiang Mai. Also, I signed up for a personal training program with @natfitcmi who is highly encouraging, patient, and helpful in ensuring that my form is right. I learned a lot and was able to improve my mobility and strength.

Great gym with plenty of parking and wondereful staff. This is the best gym in Chiang Mai lots of room with plenty of variety equipment. It's well ventilated and have two big area for training. Very clean.

Excellent gym and friendly gym. Highly recommend Muscular Lair, great equipment and layout. Good atmosphere and relaxed staff. They have some nice Pannata and Newtech pieces.

Large indoor outdoor gym. The indoor section has great air flow, unlike my last gym where I felt like I was suffocating. Lots of free weights and machines although they are not grouped intuitively. Have to walk to different parts of the gym to workout. Some machines don't have enough weight (preacher curl and dip machines). Overall a good place with covered parking for motorcycles. Good to see they have a dedicated person cleaning. Friendly staff.
