Brilliant gym. Thailand is a legend and one of the best coaches I’ve trained with. Incredible techniques taught in a simple and accessible way. Incredibly generous with his time and attention. You make a mistake, he comes over and corrects you and helps you become better. Every single day.

Great family owned Muay Thai gym in Chiang Mai. I went for the first time last year because it was recommended by a friend. We loved it there so much that we decided to come back again this year. Nice vibe, great trainers and opportunities for fighters

Sit Thailand is an incredible gym. If what you’re seeking is an authentic Muay Thai gym, to improve your technique, and even fight, you’ll find that all here. I was struck by how close an eye Kru Thailand and his team of instructors have on your technique and how relentless they are to make sure your technique is proper. Kru Thailand would often come from across the gym to help correct my kick while I was hitting the bag. I also loved how closely involved he is in the day to day training. I had the absolute privilege to have two one-on-one hour long sessions with him and he helped me improve tremendously. He’s a friendly and playful guy who you can tell really wants you to improve. I loved all his instructors too. Such good guys. Lots of young Thai fighters there as well. Doesn’t take long to start to feel like family. I stayed for just under two weeks and it was honesty hard to leave. Everyone I met was so wonderful and serious about their training. Also, if you want convenience I’d recommend (especially if you just want to focus on Muay Thai during your stay) staying at the Vila Villa resort on the same property as the gym. It’s a bit secluded but you could rent a motorbike if you want or just use grab. Run by a very sweet lady. If you’re coming to Chiang Mai and weighing your options I’d highly recommend putting Sit Thailand on your short list. This was my first time training Muay Thai in Thailand and i couldn’t be happier.

The best place to explore the Art of 8 limbs in Chiang mai state. Kru Thailand Pinsinchai will take of if you plan to train over there.

Trained here for one session and got staph! The gym itself was very authentic, great head instructor, really liked the format of the class, good training partners. My only critique was the gym was pretty dirty, no place to wash hands after restroom, and the community gloves/shin guards were very dirty and nothing around to clean them with. Overall this seems like a great and authentic gym, the one downside is it is dirty, just bring your own gear.
