I have been seeing Oum for a 2-3 sessions for a couple months and i feel completely different. I’ve struggled for years with posture problems especially shoulders, strength and mobility in my little muscles and also hip pain/tightness. That gives me chronic pain daily. Everything has improved from oums training using all the equipment and knowledge she has. My posture is opening up, my hips are much looser, my lower back isn’t sore and the little muscles that get neglected are strengthening. I have gone from feeling 2/10 every day to feeling 7/10 and am continuing the training for many more months. Oum is crazy knowledgeable about the body. I’ve learned a lot and have become aware of so many small habits i have that negatively affect my body so i can change them

Kru Oum makes every one-hour Pilates class feel so valuable. Her teaching is super detailed — she explains all the muscle groups clearly and calmly, and really helps you understand how your body works. What’s really important in each move is knowing which muscles to focus on, where to send the energy from, and how to do it in the most effective way. What I love is that the knowledge she shares can be applied to other sports or workouts too — it’s not just for Pilates. Plus, her classes are never boring. There are always fun movements to try, and we get to activate tiny muscles we didn’t even know we had. Once you really get this, you become more aware of your own movement whether you’re practicing alone or in another class. Honestly, I’m just really happy I discovered Pilates and got to learn from Kru Oum. It’s been such a meaningful experience.

I highly recommend Oum Piradee as a pilates instructor as she is highly passionate, skilled, experienced, passionate, and caring. I feel that pilates has been life changing (literally, because I grew taller, my friends and family have commented on how much straighter my shoulders look and that I look taller). For context, I'm in my 20s and in a design role that requires long hours staring at pixels on the computer. I used to be an active kid, but haven't been since ~2013 and the covid era added to the inactivity. Here are some benefits I've reaped during the past 6 months, training 1-2 times per week: 1. Posture has improved dramatically. I used to have rounded shoulders and lacked upper body muscles due to years of studying/working with poor posture. Now I have gained deep muscles as well as awareness and alignment of my body which allows to me to be mindful of my posture, whether sitting or standing up. 2. Overcame the fear of working out in general, which stemmed from not knowing whether I was engaging my muscles properly. Since Oum Piradee has taught me how to use my body by specifically pointing to which muscle groups I need to engage (she has anatomy books and skeleton models at the studio that she refers to!), I gained a lot of confidence and now enjoy doing a variety of workouts 4-5 times/week. 3. Learned how to release muscle tension and reduce swelling (please ask her about releasing the fascia and the fascianator; my brother and I use it everyday since she introduced it to us) 4. I feel SO GOOD!! I have learned so much and was so motivated to keep going because I saw and felt the progress after a few sessions. As the founder Joseph Pilates said, “In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you’ll see a difference, and in 30 sessions you’ll have a whole new body." I could go on and on but these are my top 4. Please, just try out her classes. They are so worth it, especially if you are consistent 🙂

I have been training with Oum Piradee for over a year via Zoom. I highly recommend her for anyone doing pilates regardless of where you live. Oum has always made herself available regardless of the time differences in our countries. I find her sessions to be far superior to any reformer instruction I have had in the states. Her teaching speaks volumes about her passion for pilates and how it can be helpful for more than just exercise. Oum is very patient and attentive when she is teaching. She never rushes a session. Actually, I usually have to go or I think she would train me all day long. 😉 Before I began training with Oum I was using apps that did not instruct what feedback my body should be feeling while using my reformer. She is very patient and clear with her ques. She will not allow you to "cheat" just to get through the flow and makes sure you recognize and engage the muscles properly for the movement. (Sometimes I do not like her due to this 😉😘) In the last year I have learned to recognize and use the principles of pilates in my daily life. I owe this to Oum Piradee. A couple examples of this would be 1) My job requires me spend my day hovered over patients. I often find myself hunched over and now tell myself to pull my lats and deltoids down and back to support my back, this has helped significantly with neck and back fatigue . I spend most my day standing. When I get tired during a procedure I tell myself to "hold my pee", a que Oum taught me, to engage my core which has helped me with ankle pain after a long day at work. It has also helped with my posture and back fatigue. 2) I love to paddle board. On the days that the water is choppy I can hear Oum saying "hold your pee", this engages my core and helps me stay on the paddle board and not fall into the water. 😂 Through her knowledge of fascia she has also helped me to get mobility back in my ankles. She has guided me through rolling my quads, hamstrings, and calves. In return, my ankles have improved significantly. Oum keeps me focused during our sessions. My day to day life can be stressful and she keeps my mind focused on her instruction. I find this very meditative and always leave our sessions feeling lighter and less stressed. Oum Piradee, has been an instructor, mentor, friend and a psychiatrist to me. 😘If I could give her 100 stars, I would! Thank you, Oum Piradee, for your patience and teachings. I just wanted to learn to use my reformer properly and you have taught me so much more!
