Muay Thai Fever - Muay Thai Training Chiang Mai

I can’t thank Muay Thai Fever enough for all their help with the visa process. Derry was incredibly helpful guiding me through the whole application and made everything much easier and far less stressful. I was quite nervous in my first week walking into the gym, but the lady on reception was so friendly and welcoming and helped sort out my training package straight away. Kru Tao and Kru Mike were also very welcoming and encouraging, which made me feel comfortable from the start. The classes are fantastic with great coaches, a supportive atmosphere and a well structured programme each session that really helps you improve. The Kru push you to get better while still respecting your own personal limits. The gym also has lots of equipment and is currently expanding, which shows how much it is growing. I’ve learned so much already and always look forward to training here. I would highly recommend Muay Thai Fever to anyone wanting authentic Muay Thai in Chiang Mai.

Originally I had only planned to stay for 1 month but ended up extending for a 2. I’ve trained at other gyms before but this was my favourite by far. All the coaches and the staff are passionate about what they do and helping you improve. They have created a fun but tough environment that pushes you to your limits. Derry the owner is really helpful with any issues and always goes above and beyond to help out. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to do some serious training in Chiang mai!

We came to the training as complete beginners and were welcomed very warmly right away. We immediately felt comfortable and motivated. The trainers are very friendly, highly competent, and bring great energy with their sense of humor. The training is a lot of fun and challenging at the same time. We came across Muay Thai Fever while looking for a gym that could help us arrange our visa, but the experience went far beyond our expectations. Training: This is by far the most well-structured training I’ve had in Thailand, and I’ve trained at more than 15 different Muay Thai gyms. Each session includes a proper warm-up, pad work, varied drills, partner work, occasional light sparring, clinching… and of course, some push-ups and abs 🥲 Trainers: Incredibly talented, patient, and supportive. They take the time to explain and correct techniques, making every session effective and enjoyable. Staff: The person at reception is an amazing human being — always kind, helpful, and ready to assist with anything you need. DTV Visa: Outstanding support from the entire team. Our documentation was ready in just 2 days (even though it usually takes 4–5 working days). Everything was extremely professional, and we got our DTV visa approved in Hanoi in only 6 days. Huge thanks to everyone involved. See you in 10 days — I’m really excited to come back and keep training with the amazing Muay Thai Fever team! 🙏🥊

I first contacted Muay Thai Fever in late December regarding training there and obtaining a five-year DTV. From beginning to end, the process was seamless. Derry was very responsive and I immediately felt comfortable trusting him to guide me through the process. The paperwork needed for submission to the embassy in NY was provided very promptly and I received my visa a few weeks later. I'm now in Chiang Mai and have been training at the gym for a little over two weeks. It's been great! It's a warm, welcoming community. The coaches are very attentive and they make the classes fun. They push you, but are mindful of your physical limitations so that you don't overdo it. I'm very happy that I chose Muay Thai Fever. Highly recommended!
