About
Progression Vertical Climbing Gym is Chiang Mai's premier indoor rock climbing facility, offering lead and top-rope climbing, bouldering, high rope elements, caving and SRT training, and high-angle rope rescue courses. The gym runs beginner and intermediate indoor courses, youth camps, birthday events, and adaptive climbing programmes. Conveniently located with ample parking, the facility also has a children's playground and an on-site restaurant and coffee shop. Open seven days a week, it caters to climbers of all skill levels, from first-timers to experienced athletes, and organises regular community climbing events.

I didn't choose the indoor climbing gym in the city center. Instead, I was attracted by the wonderful semi-outdoor design here. It turned out that this decision was completely correct! 😎The scenery is beautiful, and you can enjoy the breeze while climbing. There is also a small amusement park and a cozy restaurant nearby. The staff and guests are all very friendly and enthusiastic. 🫶I'm a beginner with zero experience and very weak arm strength. But still had a very healing afternoon. The price is also affordable. This is my first time in Chiang Mai and I'm about to leave. I hope you're still here when I come back and I wish next time I can be more brave.

It’s a great Climbing Gym! Friendly and informed coaches. My husband and I enjoyed our time here found the open air space refreshing. If you climb all day and get hungry, you can order delicious local favorites at their restaurant. If you come to Chiangmai and need some sport or Progression Vertical Rock Climbing may be your first step toward an even greater outdoor adventure! We’ll sure be back for more!!

Great gym for climbing! We are beginners and had so many climbing options to keep us busy and determined. 250 baht for day pass (adult) and 50 baht for shoe rental! They also have a cafe if you get hungry! Definitely would come again if we were not just passing through Chang Mai. 🧗♀️🗿🤘

This is my favorite thing I have done in Chiang Mai: beautiful view, super fun, amazing instructors. Highly recommend if you are into climbing.
